The 18 hole, par 72 course at Salgados is one of the symbols of the Portuguese golf. The proximity of the sea and a multitude of lakes make the Herdade dos Salgados Golf a real challenge to all golfers. It is very different from other Algarve courses. Originally designed by Pedro de Vasconcelos, the final layout has been heavily influenced by Robert Muir Graves. Driving accuracy is crucial for achieving good scores, thus making the course a pleasant experience, especially for technically-skilled players. Facilities include: Driving Range, Putting and Chipping Green, Practice Bunker, Academy, Trolleys, Buggies, Club Hire, Pro-shop, Restaurant and Bar.
