This large sandy beach is one of the favourite summer attractions on the Estoril coast having good access and infrastructure and being sheltered by attractive gullies. It is very popular with Jet Ski and body boarding enthusiasts all year round. An EEC blue flag beach, the average summer sea water temperature is 17-19°C. There are facilities for the disabled and showers. In addition to body boarding, it is suitable for surfing windsurfing and diving. Umbrellas can be hired.
